EDIT: And I agree with BBR. By new music she was probably talking about more singles. I think a rerelease wouldn't be the smartest thing in terms of credibility. I think she also knows right now not to overkill like Katy has. She probably see's all the hate Katy gets from her fans in her TL and will wait until like March to release new music. Well I guess that's what I hope for. It would be the best for her.

But to the people who have bought Loud and heard Cheers, it isn't. So we don't know. However, she did say "same era, new music", so of course she could mean that there will be a re-release or an EP. She's also confirming by saying that that the Loud era is far from over. It's possible that these "sixth album" rumors are wrong and there is new music but the producers are wrong about what it is for.

And if there is a sixth album, it isn't coming for a LONG time.
