Why are people congratulating Little Mix? Poor them got a decent amount of promo in the states but could barely beat queen Sara with zero promo and an off-broadway musical soundtrack
This is an increase from her last 2 albums, what did people expect? 100k+? A 100%+ increase in a declining market?
I expected more than 50k in actual sales considering the album boasts one of the biggest hits of the year, and another big global hit on the deluxe version, not even counting the lead single which is doing semi-well.
Miley & Nicki didn't even headline Madison Square Garden on their last tours. If they couldn't then why would Ellie Goulding be able to?
I smell a deep deep discount in ticket prices if they want some type of sell-out.
Madison Square Garden gets an overrated reputation in my opinion, it's actually quite easy to sell out. Miley and Nicki both performed sold out shows at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn which has the same capacity. It all comes down to scheduling.

I'm being completely serious when I say that Roar saved ha ass on the last album. It genuinely gave a second life to Brave and really helped with her album campaign and media profile.
It probably even contributed to her scoring the AOTY nom in the long run And I'm saying this as a stan who bought her album and saw her live.
