Whether people think electronic or acoustic music is better is up to them, but the whole "acoustic music is art & electronic music is trash" mentality of some people is a bit ignorant IMO, so I agree with her in that sense.
At the risk of sounding like a snob, if you don’t really understand how to make electronic music, it might be much easier for you to write it off as low-brow.

right making acoustic requires actual musical talent, any person could into garageband or any software device and make an electronic dance song
Her point is the exact opposite though sis. And i'm inclined to believe her, not just because I stan but because it's not easy to just make a smash hit electronic song If that was the case we would have all done so by now if we truly wanted.

Electronic music uses instruments? And you have to learn GarageBand, etc. like any other instrument. You can't just sit down at a computer and produce a song like Poker Face within 5 minutes of seeing the program for the first time.
Yeah I mean of course that's hard and way more precise than just a simple software like GarageBand, but to even attempt to do acoustic, you actually need to know how to play an instrument. You just need to be good with computers and have a keen ear to make electronic music, or really any type of pop music tbh.

Acoustic music really isn't that difficult if you have some knowledge of how guitars or pianos work. Most songs are about 3-4 chords. To make good electronic music you have to know more than "GarageBand".

That's not what she said. She's just saying if you don't make electronic music yourself it would be easier to dismiss it as lowbrow. That says nothing about her own opinions on other music types. Shes talking about other peoples opinions on electronic music.

I doubt it, considering she was classically trained and grew up playing and continues to play a wide variety of instruments. She's rightfully defending the integrity of electronic music.
