We all know why. He is white and sells well. And yes ATRL pays attention to other rappers but not as much as him and not with the same recognition.
Exactly! I know Jay Z and Kanye West have people who root for them on ATRL, but people are more excited about Eminem for some reason. I just don't get the hype.
People seem to pay the most attention to Drake and then Kanye on here. The only time I see people bring up is Eminem is either when talking about LTWYL or the couple of Em stans on here. Mackelmore is white yet most people on here don't seem to like him so I don't understand that logic

People talk about him as if he was a God or something.
Personally, I like him because he's antagonistic, and because fans of pop stars tends to dislike him. I was at another forum once a few years ago where some Britney fan was insisting that she was the best selling artist of the 00's, then another poster came in and broke it down point by point how and why it was Eminem -- not her -- and the "meltdown" the person had when they couldn't refute it and had to concede was hil-ari-ous.
I'm also loving that another act from the late 90s and 2000s is coming back out to shift attention away from the 2008-and-up class with music that is totally contrary to what they do. It's one of the reason I support JT this year. I love seeing major acts who have been around for 10+ years come back the same way they went out, and not conceding to electropop/indiepop/EDM and all the other corny genre that people born after 1992 think is hot.
