How much did the number one album sell last week? Digital sales may not account for much of the country's yearly total, but that's obviously way different than a weekly tally.

If you talking about France then last week:
1. Adele - 21 - 21.780
2. Various - NRJ Music Awards 2012 - 16.671
3. Youssoupha - Noir D**** - 16.142
4. Zebda - Second tour - 7.494
5. Laurent Voulzy - Lys & Love - 6.019

True, but (especially with new entries) digital sales give a good indication of the overall popularity of the album.

Not sure, France is really conservative when it comes to foreign artists. Unless you are established artist you will not debut high there. My prediction is #4 debut.
Rihanna - TTT - 26 153 debut
Adele - 21 - 5 700 debut

PS. Seems for Australia results will be known only next week since this week chart is from Friday January 26th to Thursday February 2nd, but BDT official release there is February 3rd.

Video Games was a hit in Europe, though. It was a big #1 in Germany, for example, and top 10 in many other countries. The US just haven't appreciated her yet
