If you're in a monogamous relationship in which your partner would want you to remain faithful, cheating is immensely disrespectful to said partner.

Well you don't call it cheating if you honestly believe there's nothing wrong with it. You call it an open relationship or polygamy and you find partners who feel the same way you do. You don't get into relationships with people who you know are monogamous and expecting it to just be you and them and then go behind their backs and cheat or blindside them by trying to bring other people into your relationship.
