Just speechless that essay which shredded not just LadyG but all the pop queens we all know and loved could have been an expression that many Gaga fans are feeling, the issue here is how to identify yourself as still a fan- a pure fan of her music (but not her action), or you fancy all things gaga. Deep essay that seems to effortlessly ripped out of a fans'book.

Yes, sometimes Gaga is ugly as ****. Yes, sometimes she takes herself too seriously. Yes, her music is not as commercial as before. But the fact is that I love Lady Gaga since I bought The Fame, 3 years ago.. Since then, her evolution has been phenomenal. I don't think anyone can blame her for pushing the boundaries so hard. It's refreshing to see someone go against the grain in this industry... and I love her music, I love her fashion, I love her videos, I love her personality and I love her talent.. I'm not here for the Britney shade, but I can't say that she lied. I feel the same way, The Fame is my favorite album from her because I thought the girl was fun and had a distinct kind of personality about her that was ridiculously likable and in her own way disarmingly pure. This is completely how i feel but you forgot to mention at times she contradicts herself.. I do agree with Nicole on wishing her music was more fun and carefree at times. Instead of using all these strong risky metaphorical lyrics just to get a simple message across.

Agreed, while I still enjoy her music, I am disliking Gaga as a person more and more. It also seems like she is really running out of ideas to shock. The general public seems to be over her shocking antics already and only the "Little Monsters" (which I am not and never liked such idea) are impressed.

She was once really loved and was regarded real random and funny back in The Fame era, now she is the complete opposite. I am not sure if its the same in other parts of the world, but Lady Gaga is not "cool" anymore, at least thats how it is in Britain now...

Born This Way will probably be the peak of Gaga and while I will not say she will be completely off the radar after, she will never be as big as she is right now. Dare I even say her popularity peaked during the hype period to "Born This Way" single.

Finally, I applaud those that are not delusional and Nicole, you will be missed... Now back to revision.

She is not one of those artists who focuses on one signature sound or message, she likes to explore all different sorts of ideas and visions. I'm sure her next era will be something incredibly different from Born This Way, and so will the era after that. It's an exciting ride, but it's a very bumpy one and a lot of people will leave along the way. To me, it's worth the bumpiness.
