Well, 'Roar' is performing similarly to 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' and 'Dark Horse' has had similar iTunes longevity to 'Red', so I'm expecting Katy to sell ~1.2M.
She also has extra promo that Taylor didn't have; for example the Popchips deal. That should give the album that all-important push.
