Chris: did you know Orgy's two guitarists are the other members in Dead by Sunrise?
The Ting Tings' song is so cute. It's very high on my list.

I'll be returning shortly with some more videos, but for right now, just wanted to pay homage to Brittany Murphy. Such a sad passing and a shocking one if that. Still cannot believe it. RIP

Just had a good chicken dinner and I'm ready to go. Ok, more videos tonight and I'll start doing the extra shizz a bit later...
#70 "Savior" by Rise Against
A little trivia for you. What's Rise Against's highest charting year end entry? "Swing Life Away" which made it to #22.
#69 "If You Seek Amy" by Britney Spears
For shear fun, had to put it at #69.
#68 "Turnin Me On" by Keri Hilson and Lil' Wayne
So much of a better song than the lukewarm "Knocks You Down." And a little known fact: American Idol Season 3 Top 12 finalist Leah Labelle appears as Keri's background dancer in this video.
#67 "Forever" by Drake, Kanye West, Eminem, and Lil Wayne
Take last year's #12 "Swagga Like Us," toss out Jay and TI, mix in Em and Drake, and here you go. Whose rhymes do I think take the lead in this one? Surprisingly, Eminem's
#66 "The One" by Slaughterhouse
Pump pump pump it up if you knew that early 2000 hip hop artists Joe Budden is a member of this group.
#65 "Out of Time" by Oasis
Seems like the title really spoke to the boys, since Liam and Noel finally deciced to part ways. But they've done it before. Could this be it though?
#64 "Stanky Legg/ Booty Dew" by GS Boyz
Love both. And they sound almost identical. So it's a tie.
#63 "Break Up" by Mario feat./ Gucci Mane and Sean Garrett
Mario's only fail of the year: shaving his head completely. Completely insane!
#62 "Sweet Dreams/ Halo" by Beyonce
I couldn't decide between these two either, so I'm putting them side by side. This by the way makes Beyonce the only artist to have 2 ties in a year end - her "Deja Vu" and "Irreplaceable" tied for #94 in 2006.
#61 "New Divide" by Linkin Park
Really hoping we'll hear some new stuff from these boys in '10, and if we will, let me know yall!"
So another set comes to a close, but here's some hints to what'll round out our next set...#60-#51
The year's most popular song from a TV show...
A video featuring a Deal or No Deal model...
Ahhhhhhhhhh-ooooooooooooooh!....
...and an old school AIM response.

And now for the NINE of 09 - the best things of the year that had little to do with music
In no special order...
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
People had been telling me to watch Scrubs, the Office, and this for the longest time - and this is what I chose. (+ the League, which is equally as funny.) Still can't believe the Academy dicks this cast over, because both Dee and Danny DeVito deserve some kind of award. And did you know that Charlie was married to the Waitress in real life?!?! Episode of the season: The D.E.N.N.I.S. system
Perezhilton.com
When I found out that will.i.am punched this guy in the face, I cheered. But I still can't deny the fact that I visit his website numerous times throughout the day for his scandalous celebrity updates.
Taco Bell's Volcano Taco
If anybody has the recipe for the cheesy sauce on this taco, I want it NOW.
The Hangover
So happy it just got a Globe nod. Have seen it about 6 times, and it's still funny each time. Favorite scene: The Mike Tyson + tiger fiasco
The Soup
Favorite show on TV right now, and if you're not watching you need to be - especially 2009's Clipdown starting next weekend.
VH1's Tough Love
While I have to say that I'm a fan of most of VH1/MTV's reality lineup, this is the one that takes the cake. The premise: matchmaker Steve Ward and his mom Joann transform a group of girls who just can't seem to find or pick the right mate. What's even funnier to watch is how badly some of these chicks fail at the tasks - especially the show's breakout star Taylor.
Philadelphia Phillies
They didn't win, but oh. so. close.
American Apparel
I own about probably 35/36 basic t-shirts they sell at this store. Runner up for best store this year - Urban Outfitters
The Wendy Williams Show
The only person who could make me skip class to watch her show. Complete with a Kim Kardashian barbie figure, Slim Jim rods, and a segment asked "Ask Wendy" this show is AMAZING. While most would hail it a trainwreck, Wendy's "I beat to my own drum" attitude is what makes this show so great. She genuinely cares about all of her guests, but it's funny to watch her mispronounce half of their names. I really hope it doesn't get the Tony Danza treatment, and it sticks around for awhile (especially if the snoozefest Martha is still on the air).

80-71 is a pretty damn fantastic set! 70-61 isn't as good, but it's got "New Divide", so a THUMBS UP here.
