Some of my own family members still think she's a talentless, attention-seeking pop artist. I imagine a lot of the GP underestimates her vocal ability. This is, no doubt, the smartest thing she could have ever done. I'm not hyped up about the album, however, I am excited that she gets to show the world how talented she really is.
Guys, why everytime Gaga is about to release something you feel the need to say "she's about to have HUGE success' and stuff ? Why do you build such high expectations?
I'm not saying she won't , everything is possible, she's a huge star anyways but, wouldn't it be better to wait for the album to actually come out, enjoy it and then discuss its success(or lack of ) ?
I mean, not every album an artist releases are blockbuster sellers .
That's one of the reasons why, whenever she puts something out there and underperforms there's so much backlash. Try not to build such high expectations (or hype it, for that matter) , enjoy the music and then celebrate her success (if that's the case) .
I agree with a lot of you here. I'm sure the album will showcase to the GP how talented she is. HOWEVER, I don't think it will be wildly successful. Duets II was his FIRST #1 on the Billboard charts, and that was mainly because it had Amy Winehouse's first posthumous song on it, plus all the other duets on top of that.
Nevertheless, I'm excited. I love when Gaga does jazz and shows off her voice.
