The POC collaboration is "way more popular" bc it was already a single in the past but I don't think it was as significant of a hit for Coldplay for it to be in the SB. Hymn will most likely be their next single so logically, it makes more sense to perform that.

That's a complete different situation, as him and Bey are there for different reasons. Every year, there's a special guest that performs one of their own songs. That would be Bruno. Bey is actually on the Coldplay album hence her being there. She'll most likely perform music of her own but that's bc she's QUEEN

Song with Coldplay or not, Beyoncé would have been announced. There is nothing even hinting that the other girl was for considération.

You compare a single release from some years ago to a freshly released song, that has yet to be released as full length single. They are there to promote their current album, which features the song with Beyoncé.
