Billboard has Ke$ha's Tik Tok posted as a #1 hit for 9 weeks in 2010 so that's how you should reflect it if indeed you're talking about the Hot 100 singles chart. Don't mess around with their rules just to minus 3 weeks off of Ke$ha's decade total

Lol. My thread simply uses different end-dates. I don't have a personal vendetta against Ke$ha to subtract three weeks from #1 of her total.
I use the exact same end dates as Paul Grein from Chart Watch, who also reports on Billboard 100 positions. All of Billboard's dates are thirteen days ahead of their actual end date (ie their week ending Jan 14 is actually the week ending Jan 1). I love Billboard & find it extremely credible, but yes, the dates in this thread are compiled different. However, I can assure you they aren't inaccurate counts.
Obviously, because of my different dates, Tik Tok's decade count in this thread is going to look a little different than Billboard's. If you want to look at it from a technical, factual standpoint, Tik Tok's 1st 2-3 weeks at #1 were within 2009 & not 2010 (the 3rd week I'm speaking of 1/3/10, sees the majority of the dates fall into 2009 & not 2010).
I'm sorry if you don't like how the thread is done, but I'm not asking for this to be a definitive thread. It's meant to be something interesting to see. You can always look up the information elsewhere if you don't like what you find here.
