I couldn't have waited if I wanted to, I was simply far too attracted to my boyfriend who I was living with for the summer. I was 16 when I lost my virginity and I have no regrets. I was ready for it.

I do however think it depends on the people having sex, some people feel ready and some people don't. It's a very personal thing. I've had guys dump me and really push me around because I wouldn't have sex with them, I waited for the right guy, I think that is more important than whether you are married or not.

If people want to wait for marriage, that is fine. If they don't that is fine too.

I was given a set of roses for each year of our relationship which meant 8 (years) x 12 (months) = 96 red roses (8 dozen of roses...he was broke for a good month afterward )

Most useful gift: 10 burned CDs filled with songs that reminded her of me. Some of those tracks were really good...

Most romantic gift: Same girl wrote me the longest letter I have ever seen about how I make her feel, and she pasted the letter to a giant collage of song lyrics and pictures she liked and it must have taken so much time and effort that I felt kind of bad that I purchased my gift for her in five minutes.

That was really sweet of her to do. I like the cd idea and one of my friends did something similar to that.
