44. NO DOUBT F/ BUSY SIGNAL and MAJOR LAZER - Push and Shove
Push and Shove is the title track from No Doubt's comeback album of the same name. The song is a ska and reggae combination of excellence. It takes bits of the group's sound from the past and updates it to a futuristic fusion mix. Gwen's coons and whines shine on the chorus, while the verses are a sped-up dance masterpiece. This song is one of my favorites from the album, and in my opinion, it fits into the Top 10 tracks in the entire catalog of No Doubt.
43. AZEALIA BANKS - Out of Space
Out of Space is the opening track of Azealia's debut mixtape Fantasea. The song is unique in that it's basically two different songs spliced into three segments of the overall track. The song opens with Banks' spit-fire verses over a literal out of space beat. The song then transitions into a calypso fantasia of music, which then returns to the futuristic instrumental from the beginning of the song. Out of Space is an example of how Banks is an exciting visionary, and why her debut album looks to be so promising.
42. USHER F/ RICK ROSS - Lemme See
Usher is an example of a multi-genre artist who works better in their primary genre. For Usher that's R&B. Lemme See is paired off with a decent verse by Rick Ross, but it's Usher that shines on the track. Usher's vocals and star prowess on Lemme See are just examples of how he's able to have such longevity in the music industry.
41. THE WANTED - Glad You Came
For many, Glad You Came was the introduction of The Wanted to the world. Sonically, it's a low-beat dance track that manages not be generic in a time where it seems that every track IS generic. When this song is playing, you just can't HELP but get up and move your feet and grab your friend and scream. It's an example of a legitimate fist-pumping jam that still manages to sound creative and sharp.
40. COLDPLAY F/ RIHANNA - Princess of China
Princess of China was supposed to be THE track from Coldplay's album, Mylo Xyloto. Sadly, Paradise was that track. However, Princess of China is still my favorite track from that album. Rihanna's vocals on the chorus are matched perfectly with Chris's on this electronic smash. This song is one of my personal favorite Rihanna collaborations due to the sheer simplicity, yet film-like quality to the track. I hope to see Rihanna and Coldplay work together again in the furture.
The biggest surprise/pleasure of the list has been seeing "Birthday Cake" end up in someone's list. I understand why it's hated, but from a musical perspective that track slays really, really hard.

Thanks JD!
It really is a great track if you listen to it in an unbiased way.
