A quick look on Wikipedia tells me all that I need to know about Selena Gomez.

This is literally the story of her career even to this day - a mediocre certification in the US and nothing anywhere else.

Just because it's Wikipedia doesn't mean that the chart peaks of her entire career show that her numbers outside of the US are dismissal. For the most part, all the chart certifications/year-end sales/peaks are accurate to it's current and final position.

ff; The fact that they even brought up Ariana shows just how insecure they are that the only time they can make their favorite seem bigger than life is comparing her to people like Demi, or Ariana (at the moment) who's sales are about just as small as hers but somehow she's a main pop girl.

Well, a main pop girl can have her album sell past 300k after it's 4-5th week charting? But thats none of my business.
