for all the people crowing about how PROUD they are to not give a fucck about the sales and appreciate the artistry behind these projects, y'all need to realise that that is a one way ticket to LESS SINGLES, LESS VIDEOS, LESS PROMO, LESS ALBUM CAMPAIGN both NOW and IN THE FUTURE.
Gaga, for instance, is one of the biggest stars in the world and whether BOTH YOU &HER like it or not, her commercial success is a part of her artistry, if only for purely facilitating it &allowing her to bring it to fruition the way she wants to &is used to!

I will say this though, they cannot deny that ARTPOP seriously underperformed though. It didn't "flop" (that would be like debuting at like number 20 or something and then disappearing a few weeks later).

But it still won't stop people. "Skyfall' is considered a flop around here and you know when Adele's new album doesn't sell 20 million (and her lead single isn't a radio smash) she'll be labeled as "fading" and a flop.

You can't just ask for positive discussion. If you don't want to people to give insult someone then don't encourage them to compliment them either. It will provide a construed view over a situation that is not always accurate. There intense negative campaigns that exist, but there are also positive campaigns that counteract it.

If people all conform to the same positive view, discourse in the future that will not be of merit.

Some people see a white house initiative as a success and some may see it as a flop. As a result, there is an interesting and informative debate. It's the same thing may apply to the musical endeavors popstars.
