I Thought was THE perfect single choice. UGH. Full Moon is filled with bops after bops after bops.
Any trinity without Never Say Never in it is obvs wrong.
Never Say Never is a cute album. But it's easily 4th best. It has so many songs you can tell she was forced to sing. And then her voice maturing really changed everything. Getting rid of the girly rasp for the deep husk was an excellent move to show her maturity.

That girly rasp was everything though!! That really stood at to me as a kid. Her singing her early songs now is still good, but it's just not the same, really.

Especially when she ruins it with those whack instruments she puts on in the background. She needs to just sing the songs with their original production... especially songs that are production heavy (What About Us, Full Moon, Afrodisiac, Right Here, The Boy is Mine)
There's one song here that I gave a low-ish score to in another rate but it's really grown on me so much and has resonated with me to the point where I'm considering whether or not to give it my 11.
Happy is one of the best r&b songs of the 90's!
