this. lana del rey has proved you can write, produce/record great music in the span of a 12 month period. Of course not everyone can work at that pace, but four years to make music is a bit much. By the time you've started working on it, musical trends will have changed so many times and the work you did at the beginning isn't going to even sound cohesive with the work you did at the end.
but yeah, most of us moved on so the least she can do is make sure the final product is incredible. good for her.
