I love Adele but I'm not going to lie, her Skyfall performance at the Oscars was bad. Her voice was drowned out by the band the entire time and you could tell how nervous she was and it affected her vocal performance.
I was just expecting this really big performance but it just fell flat. And the audience not even giving her a standing ovation at the end was awkward. I don't think she gave a **** though, she just seemed happy it was over.
Whitney Houston did a performance of "I Will Always Love You" in Newcastle, England in 2010 that was absolutely terrible. She was a phenomenal performer and was incredibly talented, but this was one of her weakest performances and let's face it, every one of us (even her stans) are gonna laugh.

No words. What did she think she was sounding like? But seriously, was it a sound issue where you couldn't hear her properly or did she think a backing track was playing that wasn't or what?
She was planning on miming the song but there was a technical problem and the vocals couldn't be heard through the speakers till like half way through the song... the whispering throughout the first half of the song and the first line of the song are her actual live vocals
