I remember J.Lo released remixes of "I'm Real" and "Ain't It Funny", and they had COMPLETELY different structures from the originals, yet they went to #1 under the original titles. They didn't chart as "remixes", so I'm guessing the same will happen with this completely different version of "Born This Way", unless the rules have changed in the last ten years.

I'm actually very interested what the rules would be for having a song chart separately (but I'm too lazy to Google/find this). But I'm positive that the sales will count towards Born This Way, as the remixes do. Afterwards she'll probably say the single sold x unites and so I will donate x to charity.
