Her rendition of MR is a mess and TOC is lame as hell. I don't get all the hype around her. Her music from years ago is cute though.
Because she is actually way more talented than a lot of singers out today and never get the credits she deserves. Whenever she gets a little shine, people wanna hate.
I agree with what most of you are saying about wanting her to release RnB rather than pop, but at the end of the day her singing that music is brilliant but probably won't sell as much. She needs a few strong radio-ready songs and hopefully if she can chart high-ish and rediscover her old fanbase while gaining some of the younger fans too, she will hopefully begin to take more risks and release the music that she wants to release.
I don't care how good this song is, JoJo will remain a mess for not coming to Northeastern University. I will NEVER forgive her.
Loll.
It's not her fault though. That was when her label was at its worst, one day telling her that everything was ready to happen and then another day not letting her do anything. I guess she signed up to NE thinking that her career was OVA and then she eventually decided to fight her label and serve them court papers.
"Disaster" was written by Jo's friend, Gino Barletta.

I got the chance to listen to the New Single and it is very reminiscent to her 2006 Hit song “Too Little Too Late”. The song is another break-up themed song, she sings “no happy ever after just Disaster…” The new single is a acoustic pop driven song; the length of the new single “Disaster” is 3.30 and it starts of sweet and pleasant and then it explodes!!!! She displays a more mature vocals style. I’m sure this song is going to go straight to the number one spot on the charts.
