Yeah, don't stop with the reaction of Palestine and of Arabic countries. Learn what happened afterwards and Research all the times that Israel tried to settle this conflict.

We didn't stick our noses into Palestine.
The British people owned the land and They gave it to us when they left.

What a nonsense! The land was never owned by British people. Ever. After the fall of Ottomani Empire, Britain was only assigned with special mandatory of those territories with an end date to it. The British (who held the mandate until May 1948) opposed both the creation of a Jewish state and an Arab state in Palestine as well as unlimited immigration of Jewish refugees to the region. UK wanted to have good relations with the Arabs to protect its vital political and economic interests in Palestine.

Most of the land was supposed to be of the Palestinians but they rejected to offer because they wanted all the land. They STARTED a war (yes, they started it, we were happy we at least have some piece of land) and we WON.
case closed. It's their loss.

Another nonsense. The plan was to divide the land into at first provinces and later states while the majority of the land was always planned for Israel. And what more, they wanted to divide palestine into three territories within Israel, what was unacceptable!
UN authorities including president Roosevelt had assured the Arabs in 1945 that they would not intervene or force the Jewish state on Palestinians without consulting both the Jews and the Arabs in that region. But the Israel state was accepted and officialy recognized despite the fact Arabs refused the plan of partition and the territorial division, which was forced upon them.
