There is no rush on this you guys have a week from today. Auto tune used in the manner such as Believe would be fine. If you are doing it to voice correct, I would advise against it. There have been some great auditions so far. NO JUDGES have been selected yet, except for myself. I do have a few people so far and the judges will e chosen on Wed with an announcement that day as well.
Everyone should take the time to sign up for both and have fun with this.
But wait, with a simple recording you could be getting anybody singing for you, but with a video you'll know its genuine! I might consider joining this
I was going to require video, but not everyone has access to a video camera. Plus, some will cautious about posting their image online. The MP3 will give them a more comfortable route to go. We've had some exceptional auditions so far.
Do you have a video camera? I microphone built into your computer? Some phones like the iPhone can record audio pretty well too, but be careful because some phones are low quality. From there, you can always send it to your email and submit it somehow.
