Actually we're quite open minded compared to other countries. The older generation are still very conservative, but the majority of the younger generation are actually really accepting.

I live in Ireland too... and I'd disagree. I have had no issues with being gay at all. My whole family is loving and accepting. None of my work colleagues care. I go to straight clubs most of the time, and had no issues there. None of my friends gave a rats ass. Exactly where are the people homophobic unless you wanna talk about those chavs that no one counts as people anyway.

I freaking love how minorities love to hate on other minorities. Why is it that 95% of those twitter accounts belong to black or hispanic people? I'm so over it. I'm not racist but it's so annoying that black people are so less understanding to gay people than whites, asian, hispanic and etc..

Yes I know that. There's a huge problem in the gay community and pretty much any minority and that is that they can't learn to love themselves so they hate on themselves and they're own kind. It's a sad situation.

If you guys study the Gay civil rights movement in the 70s u would know there was a lot of racism within it. And a couple Yeats ago in San Francisco a gay club got closed down because they would always turn away black ppl.
