Everything about them, from the album covers to the music to the trajectory of each of their albums, is so predictably boring, safe, and rehashed. There is seriously no good way to tell most of their albums apart except for maybe the 3rd one with SOML, which is when they seemed the most into their careers, fittingly

ofc you cant tell their albums apart, people saying that their music sound the same havesnt listened to their albums and yes there are some songs that could be in other album but that doesnt happen also with every artist? Rihanna for example, Loud,TTT, Una, there are similar songs in these albums that you cant tell them apart. If you think they are boring try to avoid them i guess but its kinda hard

Mess their songs don't truly sound like each other though. They are in similar veins since it's the same band after all but some of their songs are very different from each other especially from two different albums. Their debut sounds NOTHING like Four, Take Me Home isn't like Midnight Memories. Up All Night and Take Me Home feature some similarities and Midnight Memories and Four have different sounds from both the first two albums and each other.
