He didn't, the random girl in the background did and whoever posted the video addressed it in the posting. Are you gonna talk about how he thinks a straight person can't be a spokesperson for gay issues, and how a white rich person can't sing about self-empowerment? Who does he want to do that instead, the poor ethnic people? Yeah cause their voices are surely gonna be heard more than those of celebrities.
At the end of the day this is some average dude who said some **** in the heat of a gay pride that doesn't really make sense. No harm done but the logic obviously doesn't hold up if you record it and put it up for analysis.

I don't have a problem with that. I do have a problem with Gaga self-proclaiming as the queen of gays or their spoke person like he says. And i agree that none of this artists who have songs about self-acceptance can't really sing it with open heart about that beacuse they're on the lowest place on the "bullied scale". And like i always say, i think Gaga uses the gays, intentional or not.

Gui basically summed it up. And for the record Dephira, yes a straight person can sing about gay issues, and yes a white person can sing about self acceptance. BUT he wasn't referring to ALL, he was referring to Katy, Gaga, and Ke$ha specifically, he worded it wrong but he cleaned it up when he named songs. He basically said that the message they were sending out wasn't an honest one because they had never been through the things there were singing about. Now, no one but them knows for sure if they'd been bullied, but we go on what we know. And what we do know is that all of them have had nice lives, none of them have ever complained about being gay bashed, bullied, beaten, or discriminated against.
If Hilter sang about equality would you take him seriously? Okay then! I think yall were so quick to jump down his throat for dissing Gaga and wording his message wrong that you missed his point. But obviously the audience felt the same way since they all cheered.
