I don't know why Team Britney didn't wait a week to release. It's like they were banking on the VMA hype, but the VMAs only provide a cute lil boost these days (unless the artist does something controversial & spawns a million thinkpieces ala Miley in 2013). I know it's not the end all be all, but it really would've been a nice look for Brit to get a #1 album after the catastrophic fail that was Britney Jean.

Britney team did everything good this time (Beside the Make Me video) VMAS are great for her she is the QUeen of the VMAS, they release promo singles every week, Carpool is also great promo! If I was at Britney Team I would also Release Glory during the VMAS weekend

Let's be honest the promo did nothing for her. They were stupid enough to release the same week as Barbra or FGL as if she was a selling force like in her early days but well, at least we have another top 3 album.

They take the risk! They tought the VMAs would help! I Think that it actually VMAS work for Make Me specially outside the US this was the biggest MM week at spotify & it also help Make Me in a lot of countries to rise again at itunes

It would have been nice to see Glory at #1 though. It snatching the top spot would've been completely feasible if it was released any other week, which is kind of frustrating.
