Gaga had so much potential with Gypsy but now that G.U.Y. is not at all doing well it's possible the era will be over. Britney obviously is out. And idk about Rihanna.

Yes but Prism has sold only 2.7 million hasn't it?? While Beyonce has sold almost 3.5 million. And Unapologetic has only sold 4 million despite the monster hit known as Diamonds. So in the near future since there will be more single releases, I won't be surprised if Beyonce surpasses that in sales. Especially since this new album within like 5 months has already outsold 4. Not even taking into account tour grosses which benefits in Bey's favor. Just my take on that

Beyoncé is fine, and Gaga is definitely not done for good. She can deny it all she wants, but I know she loves being on top; once she gets ARTPOP out of her system, she will do what it takes to get hits again (possibly the Britney collab).

Ke$ha just had a big hit, and it's hard to tell where she will go from here.

Shakira is doing fine and shouldn't have been expected to have any big English hits this era--English hits are exceptions to her track record rather than the norm. I wouldn't count her out yet though; Empire might do well, Dare too.

Lorde is doing wonderfully. Taylor and Adele will be releasing big sellers this fall (if you count them as pop girls).

According to both MC and MT it was at or around 3.5 million before leaving the chart.

Either way Im glad my fave Bruno sells both albums and singles

Yes, Beyonce will reach/outsell Unapologetic eventually. But if they're selling the same amount of albums, how can one be "singles artist" and other one be "albums artist" just because one sells the same amount of albums and like 5 times more singles

Exactly it took Rihanna almost 2yrs to sell 4 million. It took Beyonce 5 months to sell 3.5 million. And Beyonce still has more in store with singles and touring coming up.

Judas was not a hit. It did okay worldwide through.

The Edge of Glory for sure WAS a hit though. It peaked top 3 and I still hear it on the radio all the time and I'd say it is one of Gaga's more memorable hits.

Yeah! Of course KT is selling more albums because's she's got new singles out and promotes them unlike Bey! We'll see when their eras are over

And don't give up on G.U.Y. just yet Just Dance took like 9 months to go #1! It'll become a hit like TEOG
