I'd say that all of those songs are pretty impactful, I vividly remember hearing every single one of them on the radio throughout my youth, and quite a bit too
If "to the left, to the left" is considered remembered, than "apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur" is just as remembered.
Most of these songs have a standout line of lyrics sans Independent Woman and Foolish.
Ashanti had the highest debut for a female artist mostly due to her success with foolish. The record was broken by Adele. So Ashanti broke records in her day.
Then you'd have to be deaf or have an aversion to quality music to never have heard 'We Belong Together', I'm pretty sure it's still the biggest radio song of all time. And a signature hit from one of the biggest musical artists in history.
Those two practically define early 2000's R&B.
I'm 19 and I have never heard that song. So I'm gonna go with that
