Young Forever (feat. Mr. Hudson)
Jay-Z I love the whole retroish feel of this song, it's nice and refreshing. Mr. Hudson delivers a nice, singable chorus and Jay-Z's verses are hot. I don't really understand why the song is Young Forever and not Forever Young, but it doesn't really matter.
Even Angels
Fantasia This song was definitely one of my R&B jams of the year, and it doesn't hurt that it has nice pop appeal. I truly think that this song could have been a major hit if handled well, it's unfortunate that it flopped. The song really is beautiful and has great production, check it out.
Naturally
Selena Gomez & The Scene
I don't understand the whole "The Scene" thing, I mean what the hell do they do for this song? Anyways, I really like the dance approach Selena took with this song, it really sets her apart for the other Disney gurls. To me, she is by far the most likable. Selena will appear again on my Best Of a little later on.
Just The Way You Are
Bruno Mars
After his great guest features released earlier in the year, I am a little disappointed with this song. I mean it's cute, but come on Bruno. luckily he stepped his cookies up with Grenade, which will appear next year. But anyways, this song is cheesy as ****, but I like the video and it grows on you.
Billionaire (feat. Bruno Mars)
Travie McCoy
I admit it, I really only listened to this for Bruno. Besides that, the song is pretty stupid but I like the island influenced instrumental. This was a great summer song, and the anthem for the broke bum bitches in 2010, but I think it's pretty safe to assume it was only popular because of Bruno. I don't think Travie will ever have another hit, to be honest.
