"I'm Real" is the 4th single taken from Jennifer Lopez's second album J.Lo. It was released in September 2001, reaching the top 5 in countries as the United Kingdom, France, New Zealand and Australia.
Here is my prediction of JLo's 2 movies that are coming this year. What To Expect will smash at the Box Office, and it will be critically slammed.
Parker will be critically acclaimed and a Box Office flop.
"I'm Real (Murder Remix)", which features rapper Ja Rule of The Inc. Records (formerly known as Murder Inc. Records), was included on the special edition of J.Lo, Jennifer Lopez's remix album J to tha L-O!: The Remixes (2002), and Ja Rule's third studio album, Pain Is Love. "I'm Real (Murder Remix)" reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 on September 8, 2001, and remained there for five non-consecutive weeks. Ja Rule had been brought in after the moderate US performance of "Play", the second single from J.Lo. It won the award for Best Hip-Hop Video at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards.
An alternate version of "Ain't It Funny", called the Murder Remix was recorded by Lopez and American rapper Ja Rule. The song was released on the same day as the original version of the song. The remix later appeared on J to tha L-O!: The Remixes. The single topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 becoming Lopez's third number-one single and Ja Rule's third number-one single; it also peaked at number four in the United Kingdom.
"I'm Gonna Be Alright" was remixed for Lopez's remix album J to tha L-O! The Remixes. Released in 2002 as the album's third overall single, the remix features rapper Nas and is a double A-side along with "Alive". It peaked at number ten on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Lopez's sixth U.S. top ten single.
