I very much realize that there are trans people of color. Don't really know (or care) about you necessarily, but my laughing at this isn't a form of erasure.

The trans thing is completely fine. Even if she had left the family and continued to support them while being a transgender woman, that would've been completely fine.

But this age thing is absolutely NUTS. She literally just went like "life's hard, I'm a transgender, so let me "identify" myself as a 6 year old and get rid of all of the responsibilities."
