I have a feeling this one will be pretty basic and uninspired, too focused on giving the fans what they want (especially with the heavy focus on fan favorites) but it will undoubtedly be better than the prequels and will definitely feel very Star Warsy.

Episodes VII-IX will be the SEQUEL trilogy.

Star Wars is probably my favorite franchise. I grew up on it. J.J has done wonderful things with reviving Star Trek and the screenwriter from The Empire Strikes Back(the best SW film) is returning. I have faith in them.

Can't wait to see set designs and the plot reveal!

Star Wars is alright, but Trek beats it by miles for me, 6 movies of content can't compare to 12 movies and about 1,000 hours of TV.

Hopefully your faith is not misplaced, I'm not letting myself get too optimistic, there's just so much about the circumstances of this movie that give it the potential to be an enormous mess.

"Imagine the standard Star Wars crawl, and when it ends the camera pans up to the stars. But instead of a spaceship zooming into frame we see... a hand! A severed hand, tumbling through space. A severed hand gripping a light saber.
That hand falls onto a desert planet, where it is discovered by characters who will be our heroes. One is Daisy Ridley.
