I'm not saying that she has no talent, I know she has a good voice (although I personally don't like her voice, but I can't deny that does have it) but it's just that critics are NOT always right. Critics are normal people just like us who say their opinions, but just because they're "critics", people think that when they say something, it is more important than your own opinion

You obviously have no clue that without Hilary, there would be NO mega success of
Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Jonas Brother's, as well as the careers of Demi and Selena.
Hilary has had 2 #1's, and 2 other top 3 albums. She has sold 13M SOLO albums worldwide.
Miley has sold 15M albums INCLUDING HER HANNAH MONTANA RECORDS. If you include the Lizzie Mcguire Television soundtrack, The Lizzie Mcguire Movie soundtrack(first soundtrack EVER to go platinum in America) and ALL the other Lizzie Mcguire karoke and other ****... that was released from 2001-2004.......
Also, Come Clean, So Yesterday, Wake Up were released at a time when Billboard didn't count digital sales into the Hot 100 and that's how Miley has gotten her hits! Early in her solo career (even 'til now), Hilary has worked really hard to get rid of the Disney-label and if it wasn't for Hilary being the first one, Miley would be NOTHING! Hilary single handedly brought Hollywood Records from the grave (their last #1 before Hilary was in 1965). Also, SO many of these new girls give Hilary the credit for being their inspiration for wanting to get in the business, has Miley inspired anyone? You have NO idea, I can talk about this ALL DAY.

Miley Cyrus has sold what she has based off of the perfected formula that Disney has as a result of Hilary Duff. They basically know what they need to squeeze out of her before her reign is over.

Yes, I'm very well aware of Miley's Hannah success, and I read somewhere that it was 13M (Hilary), so they must have rounded or...whatever. My point was that Hilary has sold more solo records than Miley, paved the way for Miley + the lessor Disney acts now, but doesn't get the credit she deserves.There's also NO denying Hilary has dealt with the Disney stigma attached to her musical work since the beginning, and my POINT WAS if it wasn't for Hilary struggling with that, HR wouldn't have the formula to use with their artists that start off on the Disney Channel and go on to pursue solo careers. Miley has charted high because of the digital sales + the IMMENSE support of the label.
