These people were known by their real names when they were younger and were acting. That they chose another name to start a singing career doesn't make them ''unknown''. I'm pretty sure Nicki appreciates and acknowledges that Gaga is a great performer/artist though It still comes into context that Nicki was not talking about clothes/outrageousness but rather of emotional inspiration.

So what inspired me about Madonna is that she's able to balance all of this with her family and her personal life. I was like, 'how do you do this, you know, with your children' and she's a great mom. you know, she's just everything.

That being, Nicki actually MET Madonna where she hasn't yet actually known Gaga as a person.

People have KNOWN about Nicki since 2009 though, which is what I'm saying. If I were to use your logic than I'd say that in 2011, Gaga was still a rookie because she released her second studio album.

Nobody mentioned anything about Missy, so at this point it's obvious you're spewing ********.

Nicki must be BITTER. Back when she was on the come up in 2007 and doing Hip Hop music, every interview she'd get would have a question related to Lil' Kim and how she's so clearly inspired her. And now that she's moved over to Pop music, she's consistently asked questions about Gaga.

I honestly think that just highlights how desperate the media are to create feuds between female artists.
