I've always wanted to get into K-Pop and J-Pop too, but it just seems so vast, and I don't have enough time to sift through it all to find out what I like.
Lately its been off topic unless Kumi or Ayumi were releasing an album.
Other artists can't even be brought up in there without some one trying to drag them.
Besides when music was discussed in there it wasn't K-Pop, unless to diss it.
......but I agree with everything you said. The other thread might as well be called the J-Pop thread and even then, it's just a husk of its former glory. I don't like a majority of K-Pop but I wish you guys luck

try 2NE1, Girls' Generation, Narsha, After School, SHINee and Super Junior, they're a great form to start!
