Your worst rock songs list is terrible. I mean I can understand Boy Like Girls (they're not even rock), but like Young Folks & Stiff Kittens? Hopefully, you don't put retarded stuff in your best song list. Anyway, Smashing Pumpkins = FTW.
I expected people to go insane about "Stiff Kittens" being on my worst song list, but I didn't expect so many of you to hate me for putting "Young Folks" on it. That song drives me insane
I strongly condemn the fact that you put "False Pretense' in your worst rocks songs list.
On the other hand, nothing to complain about your list of best songs. The only single I dislike is House of Cards
So I'm a little late today, but who cares. Today we reveal songs 40-36 but before that we reveal my top 10 most hated songs not in the rock genre.
Top 10 worst mainstream/pop/hip hop songs
10. Britney Spears- "Gimme More"
9. Soulja Boy- "Soulja Girl"
8. Lil Mama- "Lip Gloss"
7. Amy Winehouse- "Rehab"
6. Jonas Brothers- "SOS"
5. Aly & AJ- "Potential Breakup Song"
4. Sean Kingston- "Beautiful Girls"
3. Every song that ever had T-Pain in it this year (my list would have been like 50 if I listed them all)
2. Soulja Boy- "Crank That"
1. Amy Winehouse- "Back to Black"
Now onto songs #40-36 on the "good" countdown:
40. Another Animal- "Broken Again"
Not a lot to say about this track. I heard it on the radio once and really enjoyed it. Kind of dying out on me, but I still like it.
39. Chevelle- "Well Enough Alone"
I love the album "Vena Sera." It is so much better than their previous album. This song is not even one of the best on the album, that should show you how highly I think of the rest of it. I would expect to see this album on my top 5 albums list.
38. Paramore- "Born for This"
Yeah I know people expected my top 5 to be all Paramore songs. This song was technically released before all the other songs on Riot!, but was replaced on my countdown once "Misery Business" was released. Great song and catchy chorus. What more can you say.
37. Sixx:AM- "Life Is Beautiful"
Well at least I know there is one person who likes this song. That person knows who he is and will likely be here to comment. A song that has great meaning like most of the songs on Nikki Sixx's album "The Heroin Diaries". I recommend a listen to this album. You can only appreciate it when listening in full to it.
36. Tiger Army- "Forever Fades Away"
Probably the song I most regret not giving a chance to retire on my countdown. This song is just simply cool and I know that most (if not all) rock fans on this site love this song as well.
Come back Thursday to see my #35-31 rock songs of the year
