No not at all.
It has EVERYTHING to do with the gay community.
Especially since they identified as gay or lesbian before they transitioned.
And also a MTF transgender could be pansexual and date a lesbian or woman.
A FTM transgender could possibly fall in love with another man, even though he is a natal female, making it a gay relationship.
Their struggle, while separate, should definitely be included as a whole.

I don't think that's a point, if someone feels he/she was born in the wrong body, he/she has all the right to make choices that can make himself/herself happy, because everyone should have the right to be happy, it's heartbreaking to hear stuff like this.

Most animals don't have our cognitive abilities or our level of consciousness. So gender identity doesn't really apply to them. The animal kingdom is full of sexual anamolies though. For instance, some fish can change their sex.

So? Yes, there are animals that have same-sex relations. But are there male animals that EXCLUSIVELY have sex with other males and refuse advances from females? Are there female animals that EXCLUSIVELY have sex with females and refuse advances from males? Exclusive homosexuality isn't common. Does that mean we shouldn't have rights? Regardless, we are human; we shouldn't be taking our morality cues from the wild.

Eh. In my opinion anyway, I consider transsexuals to be a separate issue, but they're generally either gay or bi though, so they're practically related to the LGB community.
