Banks WILL NOT be nominated next year.
I kinda think all the imminent backlash could prevent voters from picking her, but I'd still want a win, just for the kiis. And if she does win, she deserves it. After all, while she may be ignorant in the racial and cultural discussions department, she's working hard for her success. She does not want to admit that white privilege helped her because somehow it might make her feel that she does not deserve the success she battled for.
People need to stop pulling the race card on why she shouldn't win. If they don't think she should win because the material is bad, ok, but she can't win because she's white? That's ridiculous.
Plus, I don't remember seeing a nomination getting so many people angry or upset. I can recall many times some wins have done it (in recent memory, Macklemore The Heist, and Taylor's AOTY), but people are doing too much over just a nomination.
