Europeans won't be looking on the Internet or in articles to check what the true meaning of ArtPop is, which is what Gaga used as promotion most of the time, and when she saw it did not work she went on excuses on why the ArtPop campaign did not work and why C2C is a project that suits her more.
Ain't nobody got time for that. People need entertainment to get interested in an artist (visuals, good music, buzz,...). All of which she has been lacking since February 2011.
So yeah a pop artist that is just as fun as graveyard won't attract the masses.

I disagree, both of those things are true. She lost her fun and cool factor that everyone fell in love with a while ago. The preachy behavior is part of that.

ARTPOP is a careless bop album and it's criticized for that all the time. Those excuses are why the world isn't using Gaga as much. She ****ed up her intentions and marketing so she got no buzz and thus her sales declined. Honestly, I think Europe would listen to Gaga if she had quality concepts that actually made sense... ARTPOP made no ****ing sense, so in a way maybe it's good the world wasn't completely conscious of it. They payed attention during Born This Way because it was a good concept, good marketing, and a lot of buzz.
