TF/M was so massive that it would be impossible to keep up with those album sales nowadays when album sales keep declining. Like nobody expects Adele to sell 30M albums again either.
Selling 2M albums with a mismanaged era is still decent!

Plus this is irrelevant to the topic since Gaga has already sold way past 20M albums. That's what matters.
