This has always been one of my biggest fears. That somebody will break in and all I can do is sit and wait, and beg for help from strangers online who are probably getting their kiiis from my suffering. I hope they find her and she's safe.
I mean, I'm not trying to troll or derail the thread, but I'm pretty sure if an unattractive woman of color missing it wouldn't garner nearly this much media coverage.
At the most, she would get a mention on the Nightly news.

You guys do realize that tweeting can be done silently and calling 911 makes noise? Think people. Why would she call 911 and let the intruder hear her?
That tweet could be the one piece of evidence that saves this girls life. She did the what she thought could help her at the moment. She probably didn't have much time to think.
