This I think is the key point here.
Reading the OP I can not see a valid, solid reason for her to halt her career entirely.
'Quitting while you are on top' is not a logical lead-up to 'she seems tired and I am concerned about her embarrassing herself further'.
Who would desire her to stop completely?
The fans? They want new music and live shows so no.
The label? They want $$$ so no.
Shareholders? Again, $$$, no.
The media? $$$, no. Even if she is not at the peak of her career, she is a significantly safer bet than a newcomer.
The only reason for her to stop or to take a break is exhaustion or family. But the label wouldn't want that at all, so it all depends on the contract.
