Onika has always been ratchet though...
With Beyonce, this all seems very contrived and forced. I want classy **** like "4".
Let's see how this goes. All I know, is that some Beyhive comments are very hypocritical. If this was Rihanna releasing this, or Ci or Keri, they would be dragged to the PITS!

You must be new.With her having songs like Back Up, Diva, Upgrade U etc, this should come as no surprise.

The Hive claim Beyoncé's always been ratchet, yet all through the 4 era hailed her as the epitome of class and grace.

Anyway, it seems like a major regression for Beyonce. Giving us 4, which is absolutely amazing, to now having this mess. She is simply trying to keep up with the times. However, looking at the big picture, it makes perfect sense.
4 was not a successful era, so she completely stepped back artistically and is heading towards this mess ass direction.
And don't call me a fool.

"Diva" and "Upgrade U" aren't as horribly offensive and uninspired as "Bow Down/I Been On". They aren't horrible or offensive at all, actually. Clever and fun songs. This is a regression, especially since "4" and motherhood and all the talk about being inspired by feminism and now she's smacking bitches.

Like someone said, that was a lyric on "Run The World" on "4." Beyonce has always been hood. She always tries different music.
No one trashes Rihanna because she makes ratchet music. We trash her because she makes bad ratchet music.
