In the long term it's probably better to have a more globally diversified fanbase though, in case a main market suddenly turns against you. Like, where would Lord be without the US?

Rihanna's last went only Gold. Same for Katy, she peaked at No.4 and struggled to go Gold,

It really doesnt matter. And even then, Taylor has a huge fanbase in Canada, Australia, Asia and the UK, so she would survive if the US suddenly turned on her, which i dont think would happen just so randomly!
