On CNN they told him that an estimate of how many federal jobs that would be lost if all the departments that he wanted shut down were, would be a million jobs. He responded by saying "those are worthy jobs". A million people out of work. Does he have any idea what kind of an effect that will have on the economy?

I would agree that Bush is partly to blame but still it took more than 8 years to get in the **** hole we are in. We've been in debt since Jimmy Carter and every president we've had over the past 50 damn years has sucked in their decisions.

We were in debt before Jimmy Carter, and Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton's presidencies were the only ones in which the United States debt burden DIDN'T increase, so I don't know why you're trying to blame him.

By the way, you know how you reduce deficit? You INCREASE TAXES. Especially on the wealthy. Yet whenever a president tries to do that, everyone starts bitching and moaning.

It also depends on who he running against. They easily put a bunch of commercials hating on whoever gets the nomination.
