The mods are very biased. Threads bashing certain artist stay open for hours meanwhile when the thread is about a mod's fave, the thread gets closed in 5 minutes flat.

If you guys want ATRL to be a fun place but still have serious conversations, be fair to everyone's fave. Treat them the same.

In all honesty, I'd love to see my own moderating addressed here so that I know what you want me to work on and adjust.

Mind you that I don't mean I want to see the conspiracy theories about me going all out for Gaga and banning her haters and going easy on her fans and all, because none of those are true. I know I can vouch for my fellow mods when I say that we do our best to check our bias.

Another thing that you all have to understand is that I and the other new mods might be a little shaky still because we've not yet been moderators for even 2 months. I feel like we're becoming well-adjusted now and are getting to a point at which mistakes and problems are at a minimum, but that's not even the only thing - moderating does have a hint of subjectivity and our moderating styles are all unique. We all might warn a little differently. So do take that into account.

Well, I think it is due to a lack of faith by our members. Some subject matter has been proven time and time again to be unable to be discussed rationally and/or without extreme trolling on this site.

It's more preventative than anything.

Edit: It's great you're doing this...The ATRL Mods are definitely not neutral, and it's unfair that Beyonce hazing threads can get away with it, but when it comes to other artists, it gets closed immediately.

True but then the moderators should also have the 10 point warning system . I'm on ATRL for the shading sometimes and I'm sure the moderators are as well but, things are out of hand when the moderators do not have the 10 point rule system just like the members. Now I know it would be weird to have it because then moderators will be judging other moderators but to have no system what so ever where moderator's comments can run rampant is not a working system This is the main issue I have with the mods or at least the moderator system on ATRL :P

Also, I think knowing which moderator warned you in each case would be something good and make it known to members that rather than just being "targeted" like some argue, they are just being inappropriate. There are definitely improvements to be made rather than just adding more moderators.

There was? Sorry I don't keep up with all the mods stuff. A shady mod is funny for sure, but not when they can run rampant with shade Its like "Here have this position where you moderate others because you shown the characteristics and qualities of a good member!" and then *YES I can shade all I want now* XD

Moderators shouldn't be able to see who posted the post that's reported. There's too much favoritism/bias when giving WPs imo.

We don't know who gives out what WP's though, so we can't tell you any personal opinions aside from the tasks in HQ.

You're one of my favorite members overall though. You don't seem like a mod, like you seem like a regular fun user to chat with.

When a thread in celebria is reported, take the time to check the source. Especially with Kanye threads, mods let too many fake threads stay open and even clear the reports on fake articles.

Had never thought about this idea. Actually seems like something worth discussing, but I don't know how practical it is to implement.

I get that you want to prevent trolling, but by locking threads you're also silencing people who have important things to say. Racism is so rampant on ATRL so I don't think that method even works very well.
