And BTD did have promo, especially in the Europe ( where most of its sales came from ) so yeah, you should do your research but that was a little nice attempt, I'll give you that much

It was too big of a departure, sound-wise, from her first album. The GP simply wasn't there for it. Neither was I. Lyrically, there's moments or brilliance on the album, but they're outweighed by the horrible production of the tracks, and the whole thing sounds like it was recorded in some dirty, dark, smoke-filled, rat infested crack den. There was an effortless sense of allure about Born to Die (and Paradise, but to a much lesser extent) that was absent on nearly every track on UV. It all sounded very heavy-handed. Plus, the visuals were even more boring than the music itself, and there was literally no promo.

Departure from previous sound, the only promo was radio interviews and handled messily. Also bby the tour did not fail, it was like 95% sold out Certain dates were cancelled due to weather conditions.
It's literally one of the best albums recorded though. BTD was just next level & ground breaking. The GP were like "who is this uniquely crazy talented bissh"
She also keeps doing high-profile Soundtracks to Hollywood Movies. This is getting her name to millions and an attempt for acclaim and respect. However since the remix during BTD all those attempts have flopped also.
