I told everyone on here that it's the most snobbish category of them all and they rarely ever nominate popstars. Adele was the exception last year.
And as much as I love Adele, even I know they nominated Skyfall so she would perform on the show and because it had so much buzz around it. They usually pay Bond themes dust any other time.
She did deserve it though. It was highly acclaimed by critics and the GP (which matters to the Oscars) and she won many critics choice awards before winning the Oscar, which basically cemented it's win. And it had alot of Oscar buzz around it when it came out too.

I'm sure Lana get a nomination, don't forget the scandal about it's eglible or not. But I don't think she has a chance against Let It Go.
