Peak Simpsons was untouchable, like the biggest most global brand ever. It was madly funny whilst still exploring deep and emotive topics. It touched on things like religion and race without being tacky or classless.
Now it's a lame pastiche of the already South Park-lite Family Guy. There isn't really that huge huge animated comedy dominating right now, someone needs to step up.
